You can’t share controls with a Spotify Free user, for example. Sadly, Group Listening is only available to Premium customers. Group Listening is secure and easy to set up. Group Session participants can control song playback in real-time, add songs to a queue, or contribute to a group playlist. With it, two or more Spotify users can share control over a listening session without passing a phone around the room. JQBX does allow you to create a mix after youve signed up for Spotify Premium. You have to make sure that your friends are on Spotify Premium, though. There is a free and premium version, so you can get started without. Then, click on the + icon in the message box. On your PC, go on Discord while you’re listening to Spotify. If you’re up for that, here’s what you need to do: 1. Each person in the room has the option to play DJ and create a queue and then JQBX takes care of. Connecting Spotify to Discord also allows you to be the DJ of your very own listening party. Spotify is introducing a new feature called Group Sessions to all Premium subscribers. If you and your friend both have Spotify Premium, it doesn’t get much better than JQBX (that’s pronounced like jukebox, by the way.) JQBX operates via rooms that anyone can join with a link. ![]()
