The Delegates of the Press are led by the Secretary to the Delegates, who serves as OUP's chief executive and as its major representative on other university bodies. It is a department of the University of Oxford and is governed by a group of 15 academics known as the Delegates of the Press, who are appointed by the vice-chancellor of the University of Oxford. Having been officially granted the legal right to print books by decree in 1586, it is the second oldest university press after Cambridge University Press. It is the largest university press in the world, and its printing history dates back to the 1480s. And so here we are.Oxford University Press ( OUP) is the university press of the University of Oxford. Then the blond British clown flew in, like the American lapdog that he was, and told Zelensky neither the UK nor US would accept any such deals. The Ukrainian government is open to any solutions that would guarantee it's long term security.Īnd that is actually true. If you claim they were, for supporting one side then NATO is at war today. Truth is, it is literally impossible to implement the agreements without Russian cooperation, which was not forthcoming. I don't know, instead of building up a force, you know, not build it up? Go talk to people? Zelensky had all the power to stop the unrest. Unless you're going to say it was a Ukraine Russia war? Are we going to rewrite history to this degree? Russia was supporting one side, of course, but it was not a party to the conflict. Russia was not part of the agreement in the same way Ukraine was. The Ukrainian government is open to any solutions that would guarantee it's long term security. Joining NATO would do that, but so would other solutions. Securing guarantees of further military support in case of future Russian invasions is. And Ukraine has made clear that joining NATO is not it's priority. Truth is Ukraine didn't implement the agreements because it would take them one step away from joining NATO. Instead it was responded with further escalation from Russia. Zelensky ran on the promise to stop the conflict in Donbas.Īnother thing that would require cooperation from Russia. Was Ukraine supposed with completely withdraw it's defensive forces from eastern Ukraine while Russia continued to refuse to promise to do the same? Of course you think so, don't you. Russia refused to withdraw it's troops from the Donbass as stipulated by the agreement. ![]()
